Volunteer

Join our team of skilled volunteers!

Sport Matters welcomes enquiries from interested people to volunteer with us.

We are interested in hearing from people with skills and experience in either development or sport – or a combination of both! It doesn’t matter where you live but keep in mind that our projects are in Australia, the Pacific, Asia and Africa.

Our volunteers will be able to contribute to the development of resources and training materials, assist with fundraising campaigns Australia-wide and contribute in other capacities as required to support our international work in sport and development.

Please note that Sport Matters does not offer international volunteer placements. We aim to develop the skills and capacity of local people in the communities we work within.

Sport Matters has a number of new capacity building projects in the pipeline and will be drawing on the experience of our volunteers and consultants to build the best sport for development solution for each project.

If you are over 18 you can apply to volunteer by emailing us a short biography and a resume that details your relevant interests and experience to hr@sportmatters.org.au along with a completed Volunteer Registration Form.

As new positions become available the position descriptions will be posted here and in the Sport Matters e-newsletter so sign up below to stay informed. You can also join our professional network on Linked In. Our next Volunteer Orientation Training will be on Saturday 13 September 2014 from 10am – 1pm.

Sport Matters is looking for new team members with skills in website design, administration, fundraising and event management. If that’s you – contact us!
